Taylor turns 28

 

We celebrated Taylors birthday a few weeks ago. Sorry for the delay. It just so happened that Phil was in town for unfortunate reasons. A lady very close to the family had passed away. On the plus side we did get to spend a few hours with Phil which we all really appreciated. Even Bella couldn’t leave Phil alone.

Probably the best birthday gift came from Mike. A pair of tickets to the Diamondbacks game. Front row behind left field.

I picked him up some knick knacks, a shirt and for fun made him a “Penny Can.” Those who watch Cougar town will get that joke ; )

Another Tradition is homemade ice cream cake!

I also made them into cupcakes. I wanted to see how they would turn out and couldn’t believe how much easier it was to make.

Here are a couple of pictures from where we sat at the diamondbacks game. The camera doesn’t do it justice. We were much closer then it looks.

We got to see a lot of Parra.

Diamondbacks played the San Diego Padres and won 4-0. We had a great time!

Playing in the rain

 

Tonight we had a severe thunderstorm warning with heavy rains, strong winds and even tornado warnings. While it was raining and not just a little, it was pouring down rain we let Ashton and Peyton run around in our driveway. It took them a minute to realize how much fun it was. After all, we don't see ran that often. They loved it and were totally soaked when they got done.

Fairy Tale Dance 1

This was Peyton's first lesson. Not too much accomplished today. Lost a lot time getting paperwork filled out and many girls not following instructions. I also wasn't allowed in the room so it was hard to get anything through the little window. Still a lot of fun to watch. Peyton was so happy! I was very impressed with her. She sat quietly, waited her turn, followed instructions. Many little girls were running around and or just goofing off, but she wasn't. I thought she acted very mature.
