Just Dance...

We've always encouraged our kids to dance. Yesterday we went out for a bite to eat and there was music playing softly, but loud enough for the kids to hear. Both of them started dancing in their seats. They were doing this pretty much the whole time we were there.

Here is one of Ashton's new things. He likes to sit at the table just like a big boy. I think we might be done with boosters and high chairs. He loves that he can get up there all by himself and get down when he wants. I can't believe he will be turning 2 in a week.

Here is one of Peyton's new things. She is becoming a thumb sucker. I'm not sure what to do about. She is so cute it's hard to stop her.

P90X update

Today is day 9 for P90X. Taylor and I have been keeping up with it. I think week two might be harder then week one for different reasons. I'm not as motivated this week as I was the first and very much deprived of brownies, cookies and candy. On the other hand, I've been keeping up with the workouts more then I did the first week so I am improving.

Thanks for the support and please keep it going. We still have 2 1/2 months to go. Wow, that sounds like a long time.

Sleeping Beauty

I think sleeping babies are so precious. Last Sunday we had to leave for church and she was still sleeping so I had to wake her and I brought the camera in with me.

P90X Challenge

I've decided to challenge myself for 90 days with exercising and dieting the P90X way. Today is day 1 and I completed my first workout and it was painful. I can't believe how out of shape I am. I guess having 2 kids and a pretty sedentary lifestyle this would happen, but I really feel it. I am sharing this with all of you because I am going to need some help. Call me, text me, IM me, email me, whatever and make sure I am sticking to it. So far I haven't cheated on my diet, but I am only hours into this. Yikes, 90 days is a long time.

Has anyone else tried P90X? What did you think? How long did you last? What were your results like? What advise you have? Anyone want to do it with me?

Say, "Mama"

Peyton lately has been trying to say Mama and Dada so it sounds. However yesterday all I heard out of her was mama mama mama mama. Or mmmaammmaaaaa. Every time I tried to record it she would stop and smile. I get up and walk away and she would start up again. I got a couple videos, but she was getting pretty cranky.

Restrictions

I've been contemplating restricting our blog to only family and friends that we know. I've noticed unknown people looking at our blog and would feel safer having our information only shared with people we know.

Snowball

While we were at Marianne and Phil's we took the opportunity to play in the snow and Ashton got to wear his new snow suit. He wouldn't look at me so unfortunately I got a lot of his backside.

Sorry this video is on its side. I don't know how to fix that. It is a very short video, but it was funny to watch Ashton throw snowballs in the air and this one he hit himself on the head.

I wish to clarify that I am not now, nor have I ever been, an exotic dancer.
I work at Home Depot and I told my daughter how hectic it was last week before the blizzard hit. I told her we sold out every single shovel we had, and then I found one more in the back room, and that several people were fighting over who would get it. Her picture doesn't show me dancing around a pole. It's supposed to depict me selling the last snow shovel we had at Home Depot.
From now on I will remember to check her homework more thoroughly before she turns it in.
