We stayed at the Anaheim Plaza Inn that was across the street to Disneyland. We were pleasantly surprised when we got to our room to find this huge outside private patio. Besides the cactus it was great that the kids could go outside and run around.
On top of the great patio we were also right next to the pool. Sunday night we stayed up until 9:45pm just so we could watch the fireworks out by the pool.
Ashton and Peyton loved the fireworks. It was their first time seeing a big show like this. Kipton liked the colors, but not the loud booms. After the firework show was over we headed back to our room and could you believe it that we both forgot out room key??? And yes we were all in pajamas. We all headed to the front office which to our amazing was packed! Slightly embarrassing.
I had no idea the value these pictures had until we got home and Taylor and I were scrolling through them. Below Peyton picking her nose.
Next Peyton sticking her boogers in Ashton’s face!
Priceless!
Our room had two queen beds. Taylor and I took one and Ashton and Peyton took the other. We brought a pack n play for Kipton and we all happily shared a bedroom. It really did work out quite well.
We got to Disneyland a little early. We found out they open the gates early to Main Street, but block off the park until 9am. While in Main Street they had Characters out and of course we had to take pictures with them.
Mister Geppetto from Pinocchio
Pinocchio was on the run, but stopped to give Peyton a high five and a hug.
The famous Mickey Mouse
The gorgeous Minnie Mouse
First stop was Fantasyland
Waiting in line for our first ride. Peter Pan
Mad Tea Party Tea Cups
Dumbo the Flying Elephant
View of Fantasyland from Dumbo
You can see the Matterhorn
Alice in Wonderland
Disneyland has beautiful flowers everywhere
Storybook Land Canal Boats
It’s A Small World I have always enjoyed until this time. They should nickname it the song that never ends : )
Disney Princess Fantasy Faire where you get to meet 3 Princesses
Princess Tiana from Princess and the Frong
The beloved Cinderella. Peyton only talked about meeting Cinderella. It was very sweet. Cinderella took extra time for Peyton and just listened to everything Peyton had to say. Mostly showing Cinderella her hair, the heart on her shirt and her pink shoes.
Next was Ariel from the Little Mermaid
Other princesses that we didn’t get to meet: Snow White, Aurora, Mulan,, Belle, Pocahontas, Jasmine, and Rapunzel
We also went on Pinocchio's Daring Journey
Followed by Snow Whites Scary Adventures
Poor Kipton. He looked scared before we even got started
I’m not sure which ride this is, but that is how Kipton went through all the rides whether he sat with me or Taylor. We didn’t realize that some many of the rides we really dark with loud sounds and neon lights.
We even got to meet Cinderella’s Fairy Godmother
Then we boarded the little raft that took us to Pirates Lair on Tom Sawyers Island. It was pretty neat over there.
Treehouses
Forts
Remember this from Pirates of the Caribbean?
Bridges
Caves and Tunnels to explore
Pirates Lair isn’t complete with our treasure. I love how this picture looks like Peyton got busted trying to steal it.
We then hopped over to ride Pirates of the Caribbean.
I looked over at the Kipton and he had fallen asleep
Of course we had to make time for the Parade!
Genie
Aladdin
Ariel with her tail
Donald Duck
Peyton loved these girls with their big dresses
Snow White and Aurora looking at Rapunzel
Rapunzel's tower
Cinderella and Belle
Peter Pan waved to US!
Mary Poppins Stepping Chimney Sweepers
After the parade we headed over to Astro Orbitor
Kipton being Silly
Later in the evening Ashton got a tummy ache so Taylor carried him for a little bit while we waited in line for Finding Nemo Submarine Voyage. We arrived at Disneyland around 8:30am and left just before 10pm. These kids were troopers!
The next morning we headed over to Pixie Hollow to meet Tinkerbell.
Over at California Adventures we caught a 25 minute show of Disney Jr. which was like a little mini show of Little Einstein's, Pirates, Mickey Mouse Clubhouse and Handy Manny.
Everyone had to sit on the floor and through out the show bubbles, streamers and confetti fell to the floor.
We got to meet Mr. Incredible!
Believe it or not Ashton rode the Tower of Terror. Although he talks about how brave he was and will tell you all about the ride. If you ask him if he will go back on it he will say no. To me this is the scariest ride in both parks
Kipton didn’t care for the tea cups so we sat this one out. Taylor really had that lady bug spinning.
Bumbin Bugs!
While we waiting for Taylor who was waiting in line for California Screamin I took the kids on a carousel ride.
California Screamin’ shoots you off like a bullet out of a gun. We got to watch the launch!
We went and rode The Little Mermaid, Ariel’s Undersea Adventure and although the ride wasn’t very dark, Kipton still assumed the position.
The Little Mermaid was my favorite movie when I was a kids so this was neat for me.
I had to bribe Ashton to stand with Captain Hook. He thought he was going to be mean.
Big Thunder Mountain Railroad which for those of you who haven’t been to DL in like a roller coaster. Very fun. It turned out to be Ashton’s favorite ride. Ashton and I went on first and then Taylor and Peyton. They had a different experience then we did. They got stuck at the top and had to wait quite some time. Taylor had to carry Peyton down the track.
Goofy!
This is wear Kipton took his nap the second day.We stopped on a bridge over the Grizzy River Run. Got some cotton candy and tipped the stroller back and just watched all the rafts going through the river.
So cute!
Ashton and I in line waiting for on turn on the river.
This was a very wet ride and you can tell by my pants and a little scary in parts. Ashton a new thrill seeker loved it!
Peyton loved it the first time, but not the second. Not sure why either.
Not my best photography, but here is Taylor on Splash Moutain. I was lucky to even get him. Those boats came shooting out so quickly it was to see him and take a picture within seconds.Taylor is in the middle.
One of the last rides, The many Adventures of Winnie the Pooh.
Kipton really did have fun. Look how happy he is. He is jumping!
Last, but not least…Pluto!
We personally got to meet 13 characters which I think was pretty good!

Too much to comment on, I love it all! I remember your cat Ariel :) So cute that you tipped the stroller back for Kipton! Glad you all had fun.

It so cool cause she's your only girl, but the girliest girl ever, LOL. I always tell tom that heavenly father would give me a girl and knowing my luck, she would be a tom boy, LOL. So happy for you guys and your fun vacation.
