T-Ball

On Saturday Ashton and Peyton had their first T-Ball game! It was pretty fun to watch and pretty amazing how well it all worked out.

Here they are warming up

However she did not want to run the bases. She got a couple feet and then stopped.

067

Daddy then offered to run the bases with her and that made her happy. Here they are at 2nd and Taylor is showing her where 3rd is.

When it was our teams turn to be in the field Peyton wouldn’t go. She just sat next to us.

091

If you tell the kids to go get the ball…they do! We had many piles of kids.

All the kids got to bat twice.

They have 7 more games and we are all pretty excited. Ashton really enjoyed it and I think Peyton enjoyed dance more. We will see after the end of the season.

Peyton’s First Dance Recital

Today was also Peyton’s first dance recital. She has been going for 6 weeks total. I need to find her another class to get into. She LOVES dance.

DeWitt Stables

Today we took the kids to DeWitt Stables or the Pumpkin Patch is what we told the kids. Our very cheap admission included horse rides, hay rides, tractor rides, games, mazes, and the petting zoo. Perfect for little kids.

The Hay Maze apparently wasn’t so much fun.

083

Off to the tractor ride. Of course Ashton wanted to do all of the rides first.

After the tractor ride, they had footballs and Frisbees setup to be tossed into the rings.

Next up was the Hayride to the pumpkin patch. However it was more of a covered wagon being pulled by horses which I preferred. We had shade which was welcomed on this almost 100 degree day.

Like it said, It was hot.

Even Grandpa Mike came along. The kids loved having grandpa there.

Lastly we stopped off at the petting zoo. It was small, but still had a variety of animals including ponies, chickens, rabbits, goats, a turkey, ducks, a dog, and a pig.
